“Rediscovering music time and again,
Projects
The TriO r’ange was founded in Munich in 2005 with the goal of bringing woodwind chamber music to life in extraordinary locations, featuring the Trio d’anches instrumentation (oboe, clarinet, bassoon). Thanks to a scholarship from the Live Music Now foundation, established by Yehudi Menuhin, the trio made their entry into the concert scene. This was followed by engagements at events such as the Mosel Music Festival, the Regensburg Serenades, Documenta Kassel, and numerous concert tours aboard Hapag Lloyd’s cruise ships MS Europa and MS Europa2.
In addition to performing classical repertoire for this instrumentation, the trio explores lesser-known works and new compositions. Their concert formats harness the synergistic potential of various art forms, combining music with literature, painting, or dance on stage. Different epochs are creatively intertwined, thus generating new impulses for the present moment.
The focus of the ensemble TRIOLOG is on musical dialogue.
An unbridled passion for shared expression, great curiosity in exploring different interpretative approaches, and a joyful exuberance in performance unite the three musicians.
The captivating contrasts of the instruments create unexpected soundscapes while simultaneously revealing commonalities and harmony in surprising ways. Through both meticulous and creative engagement with the repertoire, as well as expanding boundaries, the musicians engage in a three-way dialogue, blending their musical worlds into a harmonious overall sound.
The trio is inspired by taking the audience on exciting journeys through space and time.
In the spirit of Frank Martin: “What has value for one alone is worth nothing” – that’s chamber music!
More information about this project will be coming soon.
“Rediscovering music
time and again,
each time and
from every angle.
Delving deep into
its essence,
trusting its core, and
experiencing what
emerges from it.”
